These meetings are open to the public and are hosted at least once per year by the Rensselaer County SWCD on the second floor of the Agriculture and Life Sciences Building, 61 State Street, Troy, NY.

These meetings are for the public and other SWCD partners to share their agricultural issues and natural resource projects (erosion issues, areas of steam stabilization in need, stream crossing upgrades, hydro seeding needs, ect.) within the community for feedback.  Participants may be agricultural producers; owners of nonindustrial private forest land; representatives of agricultural and environmental organizations; and representatives of governmental agencies carrying out environmental, agricultural, or natural resource conservation programs and activities.

The Water Quality Coordinating Committee is a steering and information gathering committee that meets to provide recommendations on local natural resource priorities to assist the Rensselaer County SWCD in providing conservation programs throughout Rensselaer County, NY.
